The Stigmi Rules
Last updated: 2026-10-15
Welcome to the Stigmi rules! These rules are subject to change at any time. If you have a Stigmi account, you will be notified of any changes to the rules from your inbox. If you do not have a Stigmi account, you may check back at any time for updates.
By using Stigmi, you obviously agree to abide by these rules, as per checking that little I Agree on sign up. If you do not agree to these rules, your account may be penalized, suspended or completely deleted. If your account is suspended, it will be placed in a heavily restricted read-only mode where you can only see your infractions and export your data. If your account is deleted, every trace of it will be immediately and irreversibly eviscerated from Stigmi.
If you believe any content is in violation of these rules, feel free to report it. In the reporting flow, you don't have to get the rule in question correct, as it will be reviewed across all rules.
If your account breaks the rules, the offending content will be removed and your account will recieve an infraction. Infractions are typically final unless a mistake is certainly made. If your account receives either 3 infractions in a month or 7 infractions in a lifetime, it will be permanently suspended.
And finally, just keep the peace and be nice! This should be the most important rule of all. Feel free to reach out at any time if you have any questions, comments, concerns, or suggestions to these rules or to Stigmi in general.
Now, onto the rules!
- Violent Content. You are not allowed to share graphic media in any way, shape, or form. This includes but is not limited to: gore, sexual violence, threatening, inciting, glorifying, or expressing desire for violence, and animal abuse.
- Child Safety. There is zero tolerance for any forms of child sexual exploitation or sexual abuse material.
- Hateful Conduct. You may not attack other people on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, caste, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, age, disability, or serious disease.
- Suicide and Self Harm. You may not promote or encourage suicide or self-harm. If you or someone you know is contemplating suicide or self-harm, please reach out: Find a helpline...
- Sexual Content. In tandem with rule 1 and 2, any form of sexual content is not allowed. This includes but is not limited to: pornography, sexually explicit artwork suggestive or nude, links to sexually explicit material, phone sex hotlines, sexually suggestive content, and promotional content.
- Respect Stigmi. You may not and are not allowed to create unauthorized third-party clients, use or attempt to use credentials, passwords, or other data to log into or otherwise access, add, delete or modify the private information or account features of any Stigmi account other than your own. You also may not flood the platform with Stigs, follows, or other heavy requests. You may not use Stigmi's services in a manner intended to artificially amplify or suppress information or engage in behavior that manipulates or disrupts people's experience on Stigmi. This includes your use of the Stigmi API and the Stigmi web app.
- Illegal or Certain Regulated Goods, Services, or Activities. You may not use our service for any unlawful purpose or in furtherance of illegal activities.
- Private Information and Doxxing. You may not threaten to, publish or post other people's private information (such as home phone number and address) without their express authorization and permission.
- Impersonation. You may not impersonate individuals, groups, or organizations to mislead, confuse, or deceive others, nor use a fake identity in a manner that disrupts the experience of others.
- Parody Accounts. Parody accounts are allowed provided the account clearly identifies itself as parody and that you are not assuming the personality of the subject with malicious intent.
- Copyright. You may not violate others' intellectual property rights, including copyright and trademark.
- Minimum Age Requirement. You must be at least 16 years old to use Stigmi, or the minimum age required by the laws of your jurisdiction, whichever is higher. Users under that age will have their account terminated. A lower minimum age in your jurisdiction does not override Stigmi's 16-year-old requirement.
- Avoid political content and discussion. Do not post or share content about political parties, candidates, elections, government policies, or political movements. This includes political content in posts, profiles, comments, and messages, as well as attempts to use Stigmi to campaign, recruit, or persuade others politically.
- Ban Evasion. You may not create or use another account to evade or circumvent a suspension, restriction, or other enforcement action on Stigmi.
- Misleading Links and Files. You may not post links or files intended to deceive people, steal their information, or harm their devices, including phishing links and malware.
- Harassment and Bullying. You may not target someone with repeated unwanted contact, abusive behavior, or attempts to encourage others to harass or intimidate them.
